We are pleased to present the fourth solo exhibition featuring new works by Rozbeh Asmani, running concurrently with Art Cologne.

“Anything under the sun that is made by man” is the best-known phrase in trade mark and patent law. According to this, “everything under the sun that has been made by human beings” can be protected by law for the exclusive use of its creators. Asmani’s latest chrysanthemum prints demonstrate the “blossoms” that the interpretation of this phrase can bear. These, along with further findings from his research at the Trademark and Patent Office and their transformation into prints and sculptures, form the subject of the exhibition.

His latest sculpture, a federal eagle made of butter, is currently on display in the exhibition “Eagle, Medals, Ballot Box: Redesigning Democratic Representation” at the museumangewandtekunst in Frankfurt.
