Hanns Schimansky
3B-2H / Pencildrawings 1992-2013 - January 18 until February 22, 2014

 

We are proud to announce the second solo show of works by Hanns Schimansky
at Gallery Klein in Cologne, Germany. Hanns Schimansky is one of the most important contemporary German draftsman. The exhibition will focus on Pencildrawings, that have
been drawn from 1992 to 2013.

Hanns Schimansky was born in 1949 in Bitterfeld, he lives and works in Berlin.
His works were exhibited in 1990 in the Neue Nationalgalerie Berlin, 1998 in Sprengel Museum Hannover, 2001 in Kunsthalle Rostock, 2003 Musee d Art et d Histoire, Neuchatel and Staatliche Kunsthalle Karlsruhe, 2008 in the Gemeentemuseum Den Haag 2008 and 2010 at Meisterhaus Kandinsky Klee in Dessau. In April 2014 Hanns Schimanskys work will be shown in Leonhardi Museum Dresden.
